AVI to MPEG4 Converter Help - Blu-ray Forum

I need to convert an AVI file into an MPEG4 file. Anyone know of a good, free converter?

What kind of mpeg4 are we talking about? Mpeg4 for the iPod?

This isn't 100% free but has a 14 day free trial...if you only need 1 or a few files converted it will likely do the job

I use WinFF when doing this for my iPod

It will do a bunch of formats and has some good presets.

MPEG Streamclip is awesome! I use the Mac version, so if you're on a PC I can't vouch too much for its abilities on that OS; but the Mac version is sweet. Very easy to use, powerful, and free.

It has Presets for you Apple users pick the one you want. You can even Queue up a few files and let it do its work over night.

Handbrake used to have presets for PSP too, but now it doesn't and I can't get it to work with my PSP at all.

I use Video9
