The PES2008 demo seems to be pretty buggy, checking it now with no background downloads running.

Edit: runs fine without any background downloads.

I didn't encounter any framerate issues in the PES2008 demo, looks like it runs at 60fps during gameplay and half that for replays and cutscenes where they introduce the fuzzy grass shader and depth of field.

i downloaded the GT5 ......from the japan store...cant we change the camara view when driving?

Downloaded the Timeshift demo (not interested in NFS) the game is actually kind of fun, honestly not as bad as some have made it out to be. The graphics range from great(rain effects and out door enviroments) to poor (glass, and indoor enviroments) but overall a really fun demo. Thinking of picking this one up.

I played Timeshift demo last night.I thought it was preety cool FPS.
The graphics are nice at times especialy when you slow the time to have a nice view of the rain slowly falling.The weapons are ok although the sound could of have been better,i mean it's not bad but it's also not as good.
I like FPS so i might get it when it comes out.

The TimeShift demo shifted me from not interested to quite interested. With a bit more work they've got an extremely solid PS3 graphics engine there.

I went the other way actually. I went from fairly interested to not interested at all. The game is pretty and cool, but the weapons are uninteresting, and the timeshifting doesn't seem terribly balanced.

What really drove me crazy was the lame platforming requirement (the one with the pipe that you have to freeze time to traverse). I missed that jump five times because the jump distance is just barely enough to clear the gap. Whoever designed that part of that level needs to go back to the drawing board and learn how to do proper platforming.

I don't mind when FPS games force me to do platforming - I do mind when they force me to do it with inadequate tools.

Did you slow time when the tube is angled correctly? I never had any trouble making the jump and I've played through the demo 4 or 5 times.
