The Shrek Trilogy is coming out on Blu-ray this year, exclusively with Samsung 3DTV bundles. Madagascar is already available on Blu-ray.

Shrek the Third, Old School, and Madagascar are out. Not sure if maybe Dreamworks split with Paramount could be delaying these releases.

Amistad, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, Catch Me If You Can and The Terminal are all Spielberg titles. A.I. is supposed to be out later this year. The others will be out when Spielberg says he's good and damn ready for them to be. I, too, have been stunned that The Ring and The Ring Two are not yet announced.

Well, the short answer is: Hopefully someday?

A few you mentioned are already out though...

More like Dreamworks split with Universal.

Universal distributed a large portion of Dreamworks' titles on home video before Paramount took over with She's The Man. This is why Universal did the work for Gladiator, Paramount did not have the elements while Universal did.

As for the Dreamworks splitting from Paramount, its not the Dreamworks that owns the movies listed that is splitting. Instead, a new company with the same name and most of the employees is moving from Paramount. Paramount still has the distributon rights for the Dreamworks catalog titles and new films released in 2010.

Universal owns the international rights to Gladiator, which I believe is the majority shareholder, so the assetts belong to them. Just like Fox owns Braveheart or Titanic

But then Dreamworks US should have had the elements available to them for Gladiator to do the film proper in the US and not rely on Universal to do it. After all, Warner did their own work for Zodiac's European, Australian, and Asian releases. Disney also did the same thing with Starsky and Hutch, Starship Troopers, and Air Force One in Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Now Minority Report is distributed by both Dreamworks and Fox, yet Fox's release is a single disc affair while the Dreamworks (under Paramount) edition is a two disc set. Braveheart is also a different release between the two distributors as well.

You can import Almost Famous cheaply as well. I have it and the A/V is very good.
