Look froward to the review. The first one was fantastic.

I saw it in the cinema enjoyed it but there was 2 parts regarding the story line linked the first move were a bit on the bull crap side
[Show spoiler] story picks up from the US ending and how the other girl lived despite being left to bled to death in a room full of creatures
plus the ending wasn't great. still buying tho minor complaint and can just ignore the ending.

As much as I loved the first one being a favourite of mine, I thought #2 was pretty bad and not in a good way. I mean I like my share of bad movies and I wanted to like this one, but something about it just wasnt right. The acting was really bad (I know its a horror which is my favourite genre and I dont expect much from some of them) and they didnt build any interest in the characters.

Default any news on if this is B locked or region free?

I hope that this one is region free. Hopefully there will be a review on here that says this. I for one am dying to see the sequel and cannot believe that Lionsgate in the US is only putting out a dvd. Ugh

I'll be interested to see what this ones like.
First one was good fun.
Whilst watching it for the first time, it made my wife jump so much, she accidentally threw her glass of wine all over me

the version released in France by the same studio is region locked B
so it highly unlikely they would not lock the UK version.

I studied the first film in college as i enjoy horror movies and UK cinema. But the second film did disappoint me (but i wasn't expecting much). I think i'll buy it just to go with the first one.

I checked the BD and can confirm:

-Region B locked
-DTS-HD 5.1 & PCM 5.1 & audio desciption 2.0
-English subtitles
-93.41 Minutes (not 89 minutes)

My first impressions on the PQ and AQ are pretty positive.

That's probably because the backcover is wrong as well.
Back cover doesn't mention the pCM track and states 89 minutes.
I think they just used the specs from the DVD. Not very clever.

when I think of it they did the same with the first descent movie wrong time and no mention of pcm audio.

I watched this recently and even though some parts were pretty cool, they ruined the movie with the ending. I will just say that its all down from here.

Australia, apparently.

The Dutch version is also allegedly B/C compatible.
