Foam isn't as effective as fibrous products. If you're going to go the route of room treatments I highly suggest looking into OC703, OC705 or rockwool panels. If you call around you can usually find them rather cheap (I found twelve 2" panels for ~150$ locally) and are pretty easy to build a panel with. The panels will be much more effective in the problem frequencies ranges then almost any foam product.

Sounds good . I'm interested in treatments for my space also. Where would I go to find more info on the panels you've mentioned ?

Default Sound Control specific "foam"

You can follow the link in my post to their site.
The sound products are similar to what Aurelex offers and they list the rating for various sizes/thickness.
Just mentioning this as an alternative not the best possible
Thx

It's a fibrous insulator so it'll outperform foam and is on par or better with fiberglass depending on the density.
