Default Preorders for DUD not showing after x-mas

Probally nothing, but I noticed that new preorders after 12/25/07 are not showing up for HD-DVD on Warners site. Rush Hour 3 was there before and now gone for HD-DVD (release date 12/26/07) and now I see that Shoot em Up (release date Jan 1/08) is only on DVD and Blu.

I buy alot direct from Warner and this is the first time that a new release has shown up first and/or only for Blu. Maybe nothing, but maybe a sign of things to come. Maybe now they want to get them on the site for their strongest supporters first................................BLU.

Well, Rush Hour 3 and Shoot 'em Up actually said that the HD-DVD versions would be released at an "upcoming date" when the press releases came out from New Line, so nothing new here. But, obviously we all hope it points to the direction WB is moving.

As much as I would like this to be true we actually have the same warner releases last ones are term. 3 - harry potter - etc. on the 18th and after that the only other one is May 2008.

This is only speculation here - this could possibly be a sign that since of course Twister won't be getting transferred for a long time they are in fact planning on making a decision - and that's why there aren't any newly announced releases for either side after 12/18 - but only time will tell.

It's true. If you feel that guilty you might want to stop buying them? Seriously, nobody is telling you how to spend your money. He is right.

The only thing that makes me really feel like they may fall in our column is that they're bringing over Terminator 3 with the PiP stuff from the HD DVD burned into the image. That seems like a lot of prep for a catalog release, and makes me feel like their justifications about withholding Batman Begins/V For Vendetta/etc. because they couldn't yet handle the PiP stuff are legit. I don't think they'd go to that trouble if they were about to drop Blu.

Nope, he's spot on, we need HD DVD to die so people can buy into a single high def format with confidence.

People often misunderstand the difference between we need and we want...

Wanting to scream about fanboys back and forth is like a nerd catfight.
