Might be interested depending on the art, even if it's an Ironpack.

Will have to see some pictures first tho.

There is no excuses for this cock up. ezydvd have NEVER cocked up once as far as I know.

Since June 25th is a little far away maybe there is still time to change it from an ironpack to SB.

I for one will cancel my order ASAP if its not a Steelbook. Any JB insider that is reading this thread should already know the sales numbers will be effected if its not a SB.

My order is as follows -

ORDERED ITEMS:

Title: HURT LOCKER, THE (BLU-RAY) STEELBOOK (JB EXCLUSIVE)
Description: Blu-Ray
Quantity: 1
Unit Price: $48.99
Availability: On Order. Last updated 2.15am

They really should update the website to show the correct information.
And you can't blame the employees for saying that its a steelbook since most of the time they look at their internal system and see the item listed as steelbook and they go with that.
Then never mistoke a steelbook for an iron pack, sherlock holmes was a star metalpak. To be fair though, it probably wasn't jb who made the mistake, they where probably fowarded the incorrect information by those delivering the product.

This is quite the conundrum. To go with a steelbook that is dvd sized or to go with an iron pack that would be blu-ray sized? I'm leaning towards the blu-ray size.....

SH is NOT a Steelbook. It's a Metalpak. The cheapest of the cheap when it comes to metal cases

It'd be a real shame that a movie like this doesn't get a real (G2) Steelbook, but you have Far Cry and other crappy movies that do

Ya i'm kinda pissed that all these crap movies that nobody has ever heard of get perfect Steelbook releases but Big movies or really popular movies are getting the shaft and getting messed up all the time. Doesn't make sense to me

Don't know if anyone has posted this yet but JB, like they did with SH, now lists Hurt Locker as "Steel Case Cover."

I got to agree with that, especially in Germany. They have some freakish movies that should have never been released in a SteelBook packaging.

I would be very interested in this if it's a SB. I haven't bought The Hurt Locker yet so this could turn out great!

We don't know what it is yet, but even the blu ray sized star metalpacks are better then dvd sized steelbooks. I simply don't see that huge of a quality difference.

I was curious, too, so I e-mailed them as perhaps others have, as well. I'll post if they reply with some definitive info.

I'm pretty sure jb and the studio together order the product so they would have been the first to know what they're buying.

Damn man! I have bought many movies from many businesses in many states here in the US and haven't found one spot that would really truly meet that criteria. I envy you
