Here's a review from DVD Beaver.
http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCom...ulpfiction.htm I went with the HK release as it appear to be a direct port from the TF1 French release except no forced subs and the HK release has English subs. I originally had the Scadavian release but sold it since I wanted English subs. The HK release is fairly inexpensive, $25 shipped from DDDhouse the last time I checked. |

English is not my significant other's primary language so I prefer to have English subs on movies I buy. All Pulp Fiction BD releases so far have English track but only the HK release has English subs.

Some smaller countries may offer low priced/budget DVD releases that only offer a local dub but this has not yet extended to Blu-ray Disc. |

Mike--pulp fiction is a Miramax title currently owned by Disney.
they are now trying to sell Miramax so no release has come out in NA, and none should be expected anytime soon. ![]() thus, importing is the only way, but luckily there are plenty of good versions. I have the Scandinavian release which is excellent also. |

On the other hand, the sound is better on the Danish version, we can hear more backgroup stuff more clearly, for exemple when Vicent and Jules walk in the building, just before they go kill Brett, we can hear a dog barking, and music playing in the apartments. It's harder to notice those details on the Polish version as well as on the US DVD. Last edited by Nicolas554; 05-09-2010 at 02:39 PM. |

The Hong Kong blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic. You can get it on sale from dddhouse.com for about $20: http://www.dddhouse.com/v3/product_d...roductID=10561.

Are you guys sure the HK is the better one? According to this thread the Polish version is better:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...ion-get-2.html And according to this screen cap comparison, the Polish version looks better than the French version, which everyone says has the same PQ as the HK. http://comparescreenshots.slicx.com/...5288/picture:1 |
