When will it be available in the US? - Blu-ray Forum

I know someone asked when it will be available in the UK. Well I know it's out in Japan now but does anyone have any idea when it will be available in the US?

As well, I have heard of something about holographic DVD's that will hold around 100 gigs. Is there still a lot of talk about this?
