Amazon says it's been pushed back to 26 May anyway, but there are already two "reviews" (one 1 star and one 2 star) with many helpful votes that seem to warn people to stay away from the box set release.

I totally called this.

Japan is part of Region A, so it'll work fine.

Update: The shop I ordered it through let me cancel my order.

They got a e-mail saying what's been said here, that the version on this BD is the U.S. version, NOT the reveired Japanese version. >:-(

Does anyone know if the Japanese Blu-ray is the same version as the Japanese DVD with the full color House of Blue Leaves fight? Thanks.

From what I've heard, the Japanese Blu-ray contains the same cut as the U.S. disc, so for the time being, the Japanese DVD is the only version containing the sequence in colour.

Yeah, they even bothered to advertise on the covers, that they're the US cuts. I wonder what Japanese fans thought about that one.
