Default Mongol vs. Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea

There are two Genghis Kahn films on blu, Mongol from New Line, and Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea from Funimation. For me I prefer Gengis Khan: To the Ends of... myself, but I did like both. What's your fave of the two?

Probably need to pick up both of these sooner or later. That is whenever I get on an Asian-themed flick mood.

I liked Mongol it was really beautiful cinematography. Although Warner messed up by not putting a True HD track on it. I wonder what the hell Warner was thinking way back when.

Well, ironically I just ordered Red Cliff, Ghengis Khan, and Warriors of Heaven and Earth. Bypassed Mongol because of its lack of a lossless audio track. I can tolerate an MPEG-2 transfer if its good enough.

I thought Mongol was Ghengis Khans superior. Much of GK felt cheesy to me, especially the end song over the credits. After watching GK, I really could not understand what was so great about him. GK painted him to be a super nice guy. I'll take Mongol.

Boink.
