Weird Problem With My Desktop - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know, I guess this happens when I go into Windows Movie Maker on my laptop, but oddly the text will stay on screen. Is there a way to make this stop besides restarting my laptop?

I'm not sure what operating system you're using, but on XP I would try this:

Right click on My Computer
Go to the Advanced tab
Select Settings on the Performance section
Go to the Visual Effects tab

Uncheck these:

Fade or Slide Menus into view (optional)
Fade or Slide ToolTips into view (optional)
Fade out menu items after clicking (MUST)

You may find that you only need to uncheck the bottom one, but there's a chance it could be that you need switch off that plus both or one of the others.

Edit: Oddly, if I right click on the mouse, it goes away. Hmm...
