The Tudors Is Being Released On Blu Ray In Dec. In Europe. I Contacted Showtime About A U.S Blu Ray Release And Was Told There Were No Plans. Why Is Europe Always Ahead Of Us On Certain Titles?

Some things come out there and other places first and other things come out here first it all depends. I am sure some of it has to do with contracts as well and who is releaseing the titles.

It's a show on Showtime

Showtime is handled by CBS Home Video aka Paramount in the US

Yes, but the European version will probably be region free. I have ordered it and will post the region code information here.

backing up moweeis on this one , you guys get the majority of the titles before us region B's and we still don't have a ton of stuff you guys have yet im looking at you FOX.

I think what Paramount (and Universal) in their infinite non-wisdom don't understand is that if I can't get it on Blu-Ray, I'm not buying it at all.
I won't settle for DVD and I surely won't buy an HD-DVD.
They are losing sales to this foolishness.

Although the numbers aren't equal, the same could be said for Sony/Fox/Disney.

And Warner (*cough*Matrix*cough*).

What sucks is that I'm in the same boat wanting to get Dexter on Blu.
