Talking Assassin's Creed

Game Informer just released their review of Assassin's Creed. 9.5
In Short: Good graphics, good sound, long (but fun) game, and replayability: High.

http://gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/4D...79E78B595A.htm

For comparison purposes: Halo 3 got a 9.75

Here is the link for the PS3 version: http://gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/4D...?CS_pid=270010
With the PS3 you can play all you want and not be afraid of your console suddenly locking up and showing you those horrific red lights which means you will not be playing anything for about a month.

Thats cause it IS a MUST HAVE. along with Call of Duty 4, this another premier must own title, many great games are coming out this holiday season, R&C, Haze, Uncharted and many others but due to wanting to upgrade to a good 1080p TV, i decided to go with two of the best that appealed to me, i love shooting online on RFOM, since i played it to death now, & RB6 servers didn't hold up well enough to keep my interest in the tactical side of assaultin g, this may will be the game to bring back my interest in a online shooter with it's varied and exciting features but i also would love to go with an epic and great told story, since R&C just doesn't have that mature feel & nitty gritty realism, i decided to skip this and pick it after i get the TV, Uncharted unfortunately although good didn't make my buy list as i actually love the Hitman and Prince of Persia games which this is essential a mix of ad this contains it ALL for me

SO, i went with a game that offers great story, visuals and gameplay that appealed to me because i like stealth games, like the assasination gameplay aspect and the mature tone of the story

Just to add that if your on the fence to this already impressive looking game, this latest & greatest trailer as will as probably being the last is one to sure make you want this game, so look it up by pushing play on the button at the bottom of the article for the video http://news.spong.com/article/14220?cb=960

Ratchet & Clank: FTOD, COD4, and Assassin's Creed are on my "when there's a Buy 2 Get 1 Free" list. Yes, I'm a cheap bastard.

Like a lot of people I am concerned with the fighting.. which this review barely mentions. Hopefully the battle system is good because from the videos it appears it could be a bit poor.. with people just standing around you not attacking you, etc. However, this game seems to have an "open" feel and a lot of various things to do which means it probably has great replay value. My fingers are crossed.

The game doesn't have a hack n slash mechanic, it's more rfouted in counter attacking, you get many options to attack with and the way it's carried out in like a cust scene type adds some flair, you can also bash one enemy so much that the group flees all together which is basically a top notch pyschological AI implementation, start to let your enemies get the upper hand and they will become more agressive and more of them join in as they gain confidence as in real life, many hits and your dead so it is realistic and makes you thinks to counter as such

from what i hear they should be the same, however it is made by ubisoft and lately they have been kinda 360 fanboys when it comes to multi-console releases. I would have to say though that if you have your ps3 running through hdmi then I would go with that just because of video quality. hope this helps.

Will be getting it for the PS3 regardless. After my recent experience with M$ I won't be buying any more games for the 360. Unless Gears of War 2 comes out and it's not available for the PS3

Many people involved in the process of creating this game have said that they will look and play identical to one another.....

That's enough for me to get it on my PS3....
