Carradine's wife suing film production company

The wife of David Carradine has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against French production company MK2, alleging that it failed to properly look after him during filming of the movie "Stretch" in Bangkok.

Filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the suit says Carradine was assigned an assistant by MK2, who called him the night of his death to arrange a dinner with the film's director. When the assistant couldn't reach him, the crew left without him.

Carradine reached the assistant an hour later and was told that they were already across town -- and that he was on his own.

In the early hours of June 4, Carradine was found dead in his room.

The lawsuit alleges breach of contract and negligence, and seeks unspecified damages.

The gist of the suit is that if they had taken him out to dinner, he wouldn't have been hanging himself in the closet, attempting to acheive adult gratificiation. On a rediculous scale fo 1 to 10... this scores a 100.

I understand that getting off feels good and that if you're about to die from asphyxiation, it's supposed to feel way better, but I don't know. Something about dying makes me think it's still not worth the risk, though.

She should sue Google also since Google Maps didn't provide David Carradine with the directions on how to catch up with the crew.

If it's a 100 on the ridiculous scale, it'll get thrown out soon with sanctions against the widow and her attorneys.

I'll wager there's more to it that we do not know (hence the breach of contract claim).

I don't get the negligence claim though. What possible duty did the film production company owe to him???
