Just got my "where eagles dare" BD today (european version) singel disc must say I am impressed with the work wb have done to a movie made in 1966.

Love it.

Can't wait until kellys heros comes.

Just opened the box. DAAaaannnggg they were smart in the packaging department! It's like the size of just 2 Blu's together yet it holds 10 movies! Very nice. Outside is smooth and it's like a bigger that normal blu ray case but it's just one case. Each movie has it's own disc so IDK what that confusion before with kelly's heroes and Where Eagles Dare was.....

Great set. Gonna start watching some tonight

Kelly's Heroes and Where Eagles Dare are on separate discs in the combo pack too. They were smart and didn't try to compress them which I'm really happy about, because I would be disappointed if they tried to compress either of those movies.

You think that GP rating is a typo error or something? I've never seen or heard of GP as a rating

GP was a real rating in the early 70's-- it's the same thing as PG now--

they also had an "M' rating for mature before the "R" rating

They're the same discs, as far as I know. I just figured I could buy the box, it would take up less space on my shelf and I could sell the other three blus I already have.

That's what I did! I had: Gran Torino and Unforgiven and traded them in to Amazon! I also have Dirty Harry, but I've the Ultimate Dirty Harry Collection!

It's strange his acting package has Grand Torino but not his directing package.

Well, the other set is just a larger collection. Not just his acting work. He didn't star in either Letters From Iwo Jima or Mystic River.

I only wish they would have included more of the movies from the 35 Years 35 Films DVD box.

But this box and The Man with No Name trilogy has been added to my birthday list, which is coming up in about 2 months.

Did anybody who has watched Heartbreak Ridge notice that it's actually not 1.85:1 like it says on the box, instead it's 1.78:1? I noticed last night

That seems to be the deal with all of Warner Bros. blus and the majority of Paramount's. Anything that has an OAR of 1.85:1, they slightly crop to 1.78:1.

Well this is the first film which I've encountered on my own that there is clearly a miss-print on the cover art. It's funny too because about 90% of Clint Eastwood's directed films are 2.4:1, but that's beside the point. Heartbreak Ridge is definitely not 1.85:1!
