The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.

Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 starts June 15 with various conferences.

This is a general E3 thread. Feel free to talk about E3 and make predictions, the OP will be updated with info as we get them.

Can anyone tell me the name of the game they were showing on G4 where the player jumped off of one really tall building and landed on his feet?

I think it was a FPS and it looked like futuristic version of COD: MW2.

Half-Life 2 Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 will be announced at the MS conference on the 14th.

Just hope it is coming to PS3 as well.

Nintendo's conference starts at noon... then Sony's is at 3... and Microsoft's Natal Event at 3:30?

Either Sony is only getting 1/2 hour for their conference or Microsoft is intentionally trying to cut into Sony's conference time or... maybe something else?

Anyone have a clue what's going on there?

I think they have different days unless they've changed it since prior years

Most likely that one. Sony takes a 1/2 hour just to get through the bragging-about-sales-numbers portion of their E3 conferences.

The actual event is on the 13th. I think Spike/Gametrailers might just be showing the Natal event at 3:30. Sony's conference will run 2 hours.

So who does everyone think will have the most impressive E3 showing? After seeing the early lineup/leaks I'm inclined to think Sony.

But you never know about Nintendo. They are always quiet early and do a good job of preventing leaks. The 3DS and some first party big hitters could steal the show.

Well "Kinect" previously known as Project Natal looks stupid IMO. You can train 20 animals including cats and dogs? Thanks, but I had a Tamigotchi when I was about 8 years old. Family fun games? No thanks. I like how Kinect uses the Mortal Kombat approach, but likely will never generate anything that even approaches that mature.
