I'm not really into the Ipod thing, but I had to post this. Pretty hilarious.

that's awesome... and true. You couldn't give me a zune... I'd drop in the trash where it belongs and buy an iPod.

I love my Zune. If someone gave me an iPod as a gift, I would just sell it anyway. I can't stand iPods. This Tuesday I'll be exchanging my 30GB Zune for the new elegant 80GB version. Can't wait.

this thing is hilarious.

I liked the idea of the zune when I first saw it. but after using my friend's and reading about its features (and their limitations) I got a little puke in the back of my throat. although its par for the course with microsoft. take something good, make it cheap and crappy, then advertise the hell out of it.

most people I know who have zunes have a very contrarian personality. disliking things simply because they are popular. they're the anti bandwagoneers.

I wanted to hate the ipod until I got to play with one.

It is a sad thing but a lot of companies do that. Make a bad product but very good marketing will take care of everything. MS is an expert at it.

Same here. I picked up an Ipod for my wife last year as she'd been asking for one for work purposes (she's a dance teacher/choreographer). Naturally I tinkered with it and in no time I was hooked. But, in the end, I just can't get into the mp3 thing to justify owning one myself - but if I did, I'd almost surely go Ipod.

I've played with plenty of iPods in my day, none of them ever did it for me. Plus I would never download music from the internet, especially from iTunes. I'm the cd ripping type.

I think the design and functionality of if the iPod is greatly superior to the Zune. In addition I will continue to contribute my dollars and cents to Apple whom is a Blu-ray supporter and not to Microsoft who is half the power behind HD-DVD. Hey, but that’s just me.

I for one don't look at Zune as a Microsoft product, that's why I can actually appreciate it. To me the Apple design just isn't appealing. Except for maybe the iPhone.

my old guitar player had one and I was dinking around with it at practice. I loved the damn thing. but I did give him loads of shit because he had brittney spears on it. he said it was ''his friend's'' but we all knew. a guy with a 1.5' mohawk and brittney spears on his ipod. shameful.

but I have over 300 cds and its so convenient to upload them onto the ipod and just take that around. but the ipod supports aac (i think that's the name) which is better compression than mp3.

I like my zune and enjoy the functions it shares with the xbox when connected.
