Default BluTV????

I just hit the home button on my Oppo BDP 83 and thought, hey that menu looks different. A closer look there was a BluTV option, is this new or am I just not observant?
Well anyway I took a look and it was pretty lame, some cool ideas, like weather, time, unit converter.... but still pretty limited. There were a few other things I didn't look at because was getting bored and I wanted to listen to music. It looks like it has potential to grow and offer some pretty cool shit in the future.

If the remote is the same it is the "home" button. That was the first time I went to that menu since I installed the firmware update, possibly that is part of the update.

I agree that the BluTV is still a work in process. I'll take a look later in the year to see if it progresses from this simple start.

The bdp80 does not have blu tv yet and the 83 has had it since January. Just a little late pal.

Ahh, maybe I just didn't see it because since january I was in Thailand for 3 months and US for 1 month and had not had much quality time with my Oppo. I should try not to neglect her so much in the future.
