I cant wait for this one, a big part of it was filmed at one of my favorite places in the world - The Chateau Marmont in LA....

Hope it makes it to Blu Ray! still waiting on Marie Antoinette!

Somewhere has the potential to be a very touching little film, and I loved the trailer. I'm starting to gain high hopes for Sofia Coppola's next movie.

I LOVE the trailer's use of "I'll Try Anything Once" by the Strokes!

I am excited for this one, definitely. Coppola has yet to disappoint me. She is turning out more consistent and well-crafted films than her father these days.

Also, it's nice to see Stephen Dorff in a serious, interesting role. He could be a Mickey Rourke-style "no one saw it coming five years ago" Oscar contender.

Sucks it's not coming to MN. Will wait for the Blu-ray then.

Poll?

I loved it! Be warned, though: it's slower paced than her past films. Very Antonioni in feel. Shots linger. It's comprised of small moments--subtle gestures, minor conversations--which, when considered together, form a greater picture of this man's soul. The performances are elegant and moving. Coppola's music selections are, of course, ace, from a hilarious use of "My Hero" by Foo Fighters to the very poignant use of "I'll Try Anything Once," a B-side by the Strokes (the song also featured in the trailer). Overall, one of the year's best.

Oh, wow, this has already been announced?

Can't wait to own it! I want to see it again in theatres, too.

EDIT: I just noticed the German flag, lol.

Enjoyed this more than I was expecting, considering the critical drumming I've seen it recieve. As noted elsewhere, so little happens that you really do have to be in the mood, but whilst it's not up to Lost In Translation for me, still a decent little film, and I thought the surprise cameo was very well played.

Benicio Del Toro? If so, that was spoiled months ago.

F*ck. This was leaked online and I am so tempted to watch this since I just found it on megavideo. I am going to try to hold myself back and wait until it eventually reaches my theaters.

This looks very promising. The trailer definitely had a Lost in Translation "feel" to it.

Forgot about Marie Antoinette. I'm surprised it's not out on Blu yet.
