1.) Michael Jordan (No doubter, the best to ever play the game)
2.) Dwayne Wade ( pure scorer and and all around great player) 3.) Scottie Pippen ( Helped Jordan lead the Bulls to dynasty status in the 90s) 4.) Kobe Bryant ("The Black Mamba" can score at will and is one of the best clutch shooters) 5.) Steve Nash (creative genuis on the floor, very high Bball IQ) 6.) David Robinson ("The Admiral" had awesome strength , also a great leader) 7.) Magic Johnson ( Revolutionized his position) 8.) Gary Payton (excellent defender, called "The Glove" for a reason) 9.) Chris Bosh (Love his intensity game in and game out) 10.) Dennis Rodman (Ferocious rebounder, plus brought a little controversy to the game) Last edited by Glassroots; 06-15-2010 at 08:03 PM. |

No particular order
The Worm - Dennis Rodman T-Mac.. use to love watching his lazy eye stare down people to drop 3's in there face. Or off the backboard pass to himself in traffic during the all star game.. A shame he became plagued with injuries. Tim Hardaway - crossover of the century ![]() ![]() Kobe Bryant - best player and deadliest player in the league hands down. Gary Payton with Shawn Kemp - alley oop Shaq Diesel Dwayne Wayde - 2nd best player in the league after Kobe, Beast is a major understatement MJ The Admiral ![]() Careem Abdul Jabaar |

1. Bill Russell (BEAST)
2. Jordan (Slam dunk competitions, championships, dunk switch to a layup against Lakers, etc.) 3. Magic (Stylish and an amazing passer) 4. Kobe (CLUTCH) 5. James (Why doesn't anyone take a charge against him? Or try to block his dunks? lol) 6. Howard (The next Russell) 7. Shaq (When he was breaking boards!) 8. Jason Williams (When he was doing that crazy junk in Sacramento before they made him stop lol) 9. Dr. J (DUNKS) 10. Stockton/Malone tandem (True perfection of the pick and roll) Last edited by UK_fan_05; 06-16-2010 at 09:23 AM. |

Seems like most are just picking from among the best players. I'll go with the guys from about 1990 onward since that was when I started watching the NBA. Admittingly my list is loaded with Magic players. Here are my favorites, in no particular order.
Karl Malone - Knew him personally when I was younger. Great guy off the court, very dirty but a great player on the court. John Stockton Tim Duncan - Does everything right. Never exciting but always fundamentally sound and extremely efficient. Dwight Howard - Best player on my favorite team. Outstanding defensive player and rebounder. Time will tell if he can take it to the next level and win championships. Ben Wallace - Big Ben could be a dirty player with a short fuse but to me he was the definition of heart and hustle. He was always overlooked, going undrafted out of college but became one of the finest defenders and rebounders over the past decade and a major piece of the Pistons last NBA championship team. Scott Skiles - In the very otherwise extremely bleak first several years of the Orlando Magic's existance Scott Skiles was the guy who made games watchable for me. The guy was one of the best passers I ever saw and was very fundamentally sound. His 30 assists in a game is still an NBA record and is all the more amazing considering how aweful the team was at that time. Horace Grant - I always HATED the Bulls in the 90's. But Horace was the one guy I always liked, both when he played for the Bulls and later the Magic. Chris Mullin - Just an all-around great, exciting player to watch. He's often one of the forgotten players from the 1992 Dream Team. Nick Anderson - Another one of my favorites from th early days of the Magic. Ya... I still havn't completely forgiven him for the 1995 NBA Finals though... Dennis Scott - Nicknamed 3-D for good reason. He was a teriffic 3-point specialist for many years with the Magic. |
