Allen is an amazing writer and director. I disagree with the widespread notion Allen's later films can't compare to his '70s oeuvre. His super-prolific career (he, almost without fail, writes and directs one or two movies yearly) does include a few modest disappointments, such as the comedic misfires The Curse of the Jade Scorpion and Hollywood Ending, but as a rule: even a lesser Allen film is more entertaining and interesting than much of Hollywood's regular output.

I can't vote here - Believe it or not - I've never seen any of the movies on the list -

I guess I'm not a fan...

went with MANHATTEN

ANNIE HALL is just as good though

movie that makes me laugh the most-- LOVE AND DEATH
