Any fans of Slim Shady here? Looking forward to hearing Recovery. My library has it in their system and I got it a hold for the first copy they get.

I'm a slight fan of his from his first album all the way to 8 Mile. I will pick up Recovery though and that's the first album I'll buy from him since 8 Mile.

It's being discussed here. https://forum.blu-ray.com/music/9818...thread-37.html

wasn't a huge fan of relapse, had some good songs, but not his best album.

i'll be picking up recovery 2morrow @ best buy, saw it is only gonna be $10.

really like the single "i'm not afraid" (i think that's what it's called).

Although I am an unabashed prog-rocker, I have to admit his first three albums (The Eminem Show, in particular) are brilliant.

Much like the others, up until 8 Mile I thoroughly enjoyed his music but Recovery has certainly rebounded nicely from the last two. I'll probably pick it up today, been listening to it enough in the last two weeks anyways.

After MMLP it all kinda went downhill. Relapse had some decent tracks though.

I agree completely. I've like a few songs on each cd after M.M.L.P., but nothing has been as great as the S.S.L.P. or the M.M.L.P.. Must Be The Ganja, is my fav from Relapse.

Canada Chicka-chicka-dyna-mite!

"So Bad" has grown on me a ton, same with "Space Bound".

I'm still waiting on my copy from the library. The librarians are having their fun with the copies the library ordered. Not cool.

coming from a huge em fan fan, I thought relapse was terrible! There were 2 listenable songs on that album for me (old times sake, crack a bottle). I cant stand that stupid accent he used. Im so glad he did away with that (as rhymed in Not Afraid).

Right now Im really liking No Love. Em's rhymes are insane on that track.

I thought Relapse was ok. I really only listen to Hello, Same Song & Dance, and Beautiful. I liked how his older stuff was more comedic like The Real Slim Shady and Without Me.

I love his stuff when he's angry or sad. MMLP is definitely my favorite. When he uses accents (especially the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog) it makes me want to stick nine inch nails through each one of my eyelids.

Yeah, I just love the serious Eminem. Til I Collapse, Soldier, Lose Yourself, Rabbit Run. Then off the new album, stuff like Going Through Changes, Talkin' 2 Myself, No Love, Not Afraid ... that's the stuff I can listen to over and over and over again.

I picked up my copy since it came in today from their processing at the main library. I'm on Not Afraid right now. It's been good so far. I liked Talkin' to Myself.
