Default Canadian Blockbuster

I went to my local BB yesterday and found to my surprise BDs! I was pretty stocked, they had about 5 shelves with them. But under them are 2 rows of HD DVDs. Now i thought BB was BD exclusive execpt for the BBs that already had HD DVD. But my local BB did not have them while the exclusitivity(Is that word even real?) was arranged. Is BB only exclusive to BD in the states? Any other canadians notice this?

Yeah - it's just in the States.

Rogers is supposed to be renting both as well (I haven't been back there since discovering that my local Blockbuster was one the test market sites for Blu-ray/HD-DVD rentals several months ago).

My local BB rents both, with equal shelf space.

Unfortunately in Canada blockbusters is renting an equal selection both blu-ray and hd-dvd. Only select few locations so far have blu-ray. Rogers video on the other hand puting an equal selection in the majority of their stores. Every rogers i've visited has them.

Doesnt seem like its doing all that well. I see a few more blu-rays rented then hd-dvd but still alot of titles that are unrented.
