Sorry, no more pix but the audio on both is English DTS-HD MA 5.1 only.

Pretty much anything will be a step up from the DVDs as they were super-early releases and look like absolute garbage. But I'm also hoping for at least 4 star PQ!

I just grabbed the screenshots from a guy in England who got it before us in the states and posted them on the internet.

I'm just as curious but I expect a likely very grainy transfer as it was shot in the Super35 format back in the days when you had to do a blowup to get 2.39:1 prints from the format (nowdays with DI they don't have to do that). Super35 movies from that era are usually a bit grainier than films shot with anamorphic lenses (see Ferris Bueller's Day Off or Marked For Death to get an idea).

Both titles have only English DTS-HD MA 5.1

Yes, there are French subtitles on both films. As the previous poster mentioned, there is only English audio.

Picked this up at Wal-Mart for $19.99 on Sunday night (they had put it out early!). I watched "The Last Boy Scout" tonight and thought it looked really good, somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I didn't see any evidence of excessive DNR, and there weren't any other noticeable issues. The audio was a solid 4 stars. I only sampled "Last Man Standing," but from what I saw, I'd give the transfer an easy 4 stars, possibly 4.5. It was very impressive in my opinion. The audio was also 4 to 4.5 stars. If you're curious, my TV is a 2009 50" Samsung plasma. Bear in mind, I am far from a professional reviewer, though I usually agree with the reviews on this site.

Really good news. Mine is shipping from Amazon. Should be here by the weekend. I've always been curious how well the audio would hold up on The Last Boy Scout.

I watched Last Man Standing long ago. Never really thought about it since it didn't make an impression. Now i'm kinda excited to check it out. I might enjoy over the first view.
