Point was that game would NOT have been installed to the HDD as it wasn't my top 3 to 5 games. It still would have got F'd.

I ran out of space on my HDD as it was..let alone being able to put all my games on it.

why would anyone want to put all thier games on it? game collections can get quite big which is why m$ should have went the ps3 route with the hdd. game installs get rotated like fresh fruit at the store.

it doesnt matter anyway. at the time it wasnt available. cant change that. now, theres the option. so if you have to nudge it, there shouldnt be a problem. even if its not a favorite, it can still be rotated through and out of the drive.

My original Xbox 360 scratched up one of my Gears of War 2 discs one time to the point that I would get an Disc is Unreadable message about half the time when playing it , thing is I might have put the disc in so it was'nt resting quite level in the tray . Either way it put one large scratch into it. Fortionatly my friend had one of those Disc Dr. things and it actully made it playable again.

Seeing as how i don't own any system atm and would love to own all 3 currently out just wanted to chime in with...

did those "scratch" videos make anyone else wanna actually spend the money to buy and then just chuck a ps3 across the room while running and say "look" scratched disc

This is the first time i have seen the slim 360 and i am not to impressed, eventually i may have the extra cash to get one of these things and the slim in this instance does nothing to bring me the xbox route. Still think the WII will be my next system short of my BDP dying on me in which case i would probably get a ps3.

The Wii is pretty awesome, just don't expect high def graphics.

Plus, with a Ps3, even with a scratched disc it'll still play.

Yeah i wouldn't (gaming is much more then graphics to me), the nature of my time at the moment doesn't leave me the ability to get into a 10 hour session of gears of war, and the WII appeals to me for a short session of "messing" around. So far the games i really liked were tiger woods golf, of course the mini games bowling and such, the new mario (the 2d one), and the big game hunter i played WITH the rifle add on which was a blast from the past, flashbacks to dunk hunt on that one.

As much as i would like to get a 360 or a ps3 (dying to give god of war a run) i know my self control would not allow me to play short times which would leave me sleeping two hours a night if that to fit games and work in, and frankly i can't pull those nights like i used to or else i would

"into a 10 hour session of gears of war"

Done and Done lol....., yeah thats an "online" session for me, i am way to competitive and although i pick up FPS fast and can hang with the freaks on there, i find you really have to play to stay a beast, not to mention the last 6 hours of that session would be me saying "one more match".

Had the same addiction with starwars battlefront, modern combat 2 for the ps2 and then when i got my 360 all was lost lol, GOW, COD4, and R6vegas dominated way to much of my time. I literally gave up all life, got screwed with constantly for selling out, and when i did go out i was thinking about juke moves and such. It was bad. Not even joking when i say many nights i would just skip sleep altogether before going back into work for a 12 hour shift only to come home for another 8 hour session.

The new Mario is awesome, I sincerely hope that Rosalina isn't in it, I'm in world 4 and it's just as much fun as the first one {even more actually}

Wow... really?

That's a pretty short game.

There are games of Civilization Revolution that have lasted longer than that.

I don't recall Gears of War being a 5 hour game. I remember the last time I played it, I was about 5 hours into it when I grew weary of the monotonous gameplay and just decided not to play it anymore. Still looking forward to Gears 3 to finish up the story, even though I didn't care for Gears 2 all that much.

Gears is not a 5 hour game. Ive played all levels multimple times on 1&2 and it takes a good 8-12 depending on what difficultly your playing and your skill.

That sounds about right.

And I love your avatar. Heavenly Sword is one of my favorite games of all time. Glad I had a PS3 long enough to play it.

the thing has 4 USB ports in the back? Thats a great and underated feature. Sony needs to put some back there and put more than 2 on their console. Im glad I at least have a 60gb which has 4 in the front. Especially now when they are trying to push the Move. The PS Eye takes up one spot, leaving only one free one for controllers and/or accesories. The PS3 needs more than 2

Sorry, I don't buy that.

Nothing really needs more than 2 USB ports, if you absolutely have to have EVERYTHING that you have that's USB related plugged in at the same time, buy a USB hub.

you opinion
mine is i like the 4 ports on the ps3. i use them. not that i HAVE to have everything plugged in, if its plugged, its being used. half the time im using 3 ports. a hub would just add to the clutter.

As long as a Move is used, the PS Eye will take up one. That only leaves one more slot and thats important for charging controllers, headsets, Move and Navigation, other gaming accesories, USB keyboards, flash drive, etc... You may not use any of that suff but alot fo gamers do. Im lucky I have a 4 port PS3, but Id be disappointed if I only had 2.

I believe the 360 S has 3 USB ports on the back. And 2 more in front bring the total to 5. There's another port beside the 3 USB ports labeled AUX, which can be mistaken for a USB port.
