Blu-ray Knight

This summer I've been rewatching "Friends" from the first episode (I deserve all ridicule, bring it!). I know this isn't that old, but in the early- to mid-90's, there wasn't really that much overtly sexual lines in primetime TV.
Here's a few from Season 2 alone that caught my attention, and really made me laugh again. Maybe I didn't quite "get it" in 1995 when I was a Sophomore/Junior in high school: (1) Monica is talking about selling stock, and says "My motto is get out before they go down." Joey says: "That is so not my motto..." (2) Rachel is yelling at Ross for "taking her wind and not letting her blow." Ross sheepishly says "You ... you know I ... that I don't have a problem with that." (3) Joey buys Chandler a huge gross gold bracelet. It's heavy. He tells Chandler: "I hope that doesn't interfere with your sex life." Chandler responds: "Well, for the first few nights it might slow me down. But after that I'll get used to it." Anything you recall? |

My favorite Friends moment was when Joey was trying to pick up that chick in the subway or whatever, and she looks past him and then just freaks out and leaves. He's like "WTF?" and turns around and there's a huge ass poster with his picture and it says "What Mario's Not Telling You" and it's some STD awareness thing. He had done some modeling job and didn't know what the pictures were for, and they were plastered ALL OVER the city. lol |
