I like how t-series releases 1 bluray a week

I don't know if everyone had chance to watch this movie, it's a great movie to own. I'll be placing my order as soon as it's available online in Canada/US

Is this one authored by chandna? As Sanjay had said earlier that future releases authored by them will have no watermarks? or T-Series has listened for good for all the future titles. I urge everyone to be CAUTIOUS before voting with the wallet. Purchase only if NO WATERMARKS thing is confirmed. I am looking forward to confirmation from reliable members.

2nd release w/o Watermarks, the first being DON as the producer had insisted that.

i dont have time to watch entire movie but what i noticed is decent pq.........but not the best tseries has to offer......wanted don sarkar raj still better(maybe this is becoz of little age of movie or the source cameras used......bt newayzz still good)........and gr8 sound.........apparently no problems here..........

Thanks for the update Divyansh. Finally no watermarks from T-Series. Hope this becomes more of a standard from now on and not an exception with this BD.

T Series so far has delivered really good BDs except DCH. At least their BDs are not plagued with black level issues. Hope to see more quality releases from them.

I have not received this BD yet as it is not for UK release and hoping one of our colleague from India to get it for me this week.

While getting impatient to watch this, I spent some more time going through the screenshots.

My current observations from the screenshots
Note: I am not trying to judge from screenshots as it is not the best method anyway. I am eager to see someones review or get the BD myself and watch it.

1. Picture appears nice and sharp (at times tad too sharp - possible Edge Enhancement ???)
2. Pink tinge visible more prominent on white objects or peoples faces. Colour hue issue
3. Contrast boost - White/light coloured objects in few contrasty scenes look blown with loss of detail. This can be seen on peoples shirts, collars and especially the image with the Kendriya Karagar - That looks awful with contrast blown out. You can't see the detail on the building due to boosted contrast. If contrast is boosted througout the entire movie and edge enhancement is used as well, some dark scenes will suffer from noise and other artefacts.

I am just hoping that the actual BD image to be better than the screenshots posted by DDR. if Point 2 and 3 proves to be right, then I will be slightly dissapointed.

Divyansh, could you share your viewing experience on the above 3 points?

If I manage to get the BD this week, I will post a review by weekend.

Hope Sanjay to post his review soon.

Ani

i yet havnt seen the whole movie on my projector but by seeing it on my 46inch bravia........the picture looks quite good.........though i had to tweek the picture a bit(it looked a lot redish in earlier settings) it was not at all bad.........as i said earlier it is not as impressive as don or wanted or sarkar raj maybe because of cameras used..........but still the picture looks sharp....... details are good no amount of dnr i think is been appplied........and yes i feel little bit of edge enhacement is there but overall its not disturbing.........and the sound........i havnt tested it on my big setup but in this small jbl spkrz setup with 1 10 inch woofer the movie sounded flawsless and no complaints here............so my initial ratings will be.........

Picture Quality 4.00 Out Of 5
Sound Quality 4.50 Out Of 5............

overall not bad at all.............now looking forward to wake up sid bd which i think ill get by max 2morrow........that looks amazing(from screenshots) and bhv tag attached to it iam excited to see dat one.......

Thanks Divyansh. I am not saying it as bad as I haven't seen it myself. I think watching on a PJ makes quite a difference as PQ issues look quite amplified on a big screen which you may overlook at 40-60 inches of TV.

Look forward to your comments after you manage to see it on your PJ.

EE can still be tweaked a liitle but contrast bloom is difficult to tweak as detail lost cannot be brought back.

Anyways, I am quite hopefull with the actual PQ of Apaharan. I am also eagerly waiting for the Wake up Sid BD. Screnshots are looking great and I am expecting a Ghajini type of PQ and AQ on that.
