Ghostbusters
Stand By Me
The Natural

A poll for the '60s and '70s would be nice. Taxi Driver, Easy Rider, The Last Picture Show... anyone?

I actually voted for more titles in the 1980s poll than in the 1990s one.

And, again, I'd buy every single one if it came out. There's Coppola, there's David Lean, there's John Huston -- no contest, I guess.

As far as I know that's an MGM title.

Ghost Busters is an easy buy but Heavy Metal would be incredible. It would really be the ultimate eye and ear candy.

YAY! for the John Carpenter films (Christine and Starman). HUZZAH! for Ghostbusters! A release of Annie with TrueHD or PCM might make up for Sony releasing it fullscreen only when they did the double-dip a couple of years ago on standard def.

Oh and besides Ghostbusters, I think Glory would be an exceptional movie to put on BD, it would be awesome with PCM sound!

Platoon I think was Picture of the Year 1985 or so... that would be a great one as well, can't remember the studio off-hand though.

Ghostbusters seems to be the favorite of many, me included. It's a shame Paidgeek once mentioned in the insider's thread that the master isn't looking too good. I'll still get it though, because I'd still call it a classic (damn, I'm getting old...)

And can we finally get Peggy Sue Got Married in *widescreen* ferchrissakes? I've got it on LaserDisc in WS, but SD only has it in *stupid* Full Screen. Dumb!

Starman would be great--and also in *Widescreen*.

I just hope the pricing isn't anything like CEot3K... that's just way too much IMO.
