Maybe we should rename the thread "Disney 2007 Lineup Revealed?"?

A quick run through Google gives us:

* Air Force One
* Face to Face (I'm guessing Face-Off)
* Like God (?)
* Con-Air
* Déjà Vu
* Dinosaur (already released in US)
* Public Enemy (?)
* Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
* The Rock
* Lost - First Season
* Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
* Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
* Pulp Fiction
* Sin City
* Sky High (already released in US)
* Starship Troopers
* The Guardian

Some of it we already know about, but I'm up for almost 3/4 of this list. Good job, BVHE!

Air Force One and Starship Troopers are Columbia Tristar in the USA iirc.

Which country are these all listed for? It all seems very strange.

These two are under Buena Vista International. I'm sure SCT will give them a good master to go with. Maybe even force them to use AVC.

Como Dios is not "Like God". It's Bruce Almighty. Enemigo Público is Enemy Of The State.

TIP: Paste the original Spanish and add DVD. You'll find your English title.

Before anyone gets overly excited, "Bruce Almighty" was distributed in Europe by BVHE, and this is a list from their European division. But most of the rest of the list seems valid for US as well.

Yup. In Japan, the movie is distributed via Spy Glass Entertainment. Interesting enough, they distribute only a handful of films:

1. Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) ... Distributor
2. The Legend of Zorro (2005) ... Distributor
3. Jumpshot (2004) (V) ... Distributor (2004) (worldwide) (DVD)
4. Seabiscuit (2003) ... Distributor (2003) (non-USA) (theatrical) (through BVI)
5. 1 Love (2003) ... Distributor
6. Bruce Almighty (2003) ... Distributor (German-speaking countries), Distributor (Japan), Distributor (Scandinavia)
7. Dragonfly (2002) ... Distributor (international)
8. The Insider (1999) ... Distributor (1999) (theatrical) (non-USA) (through BVI)

Anyone else notice that the non-USA distributor of Seabiscuit is done through Buena Vista International! Hopefully they will go with Disney and release their flicks on Blu-ray in Japan.

Ditto on all the Sin City love. Another Rodriguez film shot entirely on digital, they should be able to make this picture amazing.

Pulp Fiction is just a great flick.

Pirates 1&2 will be huge.

Default More "Oficial anuncios" from ZonaDVD

Not much more "concrete" info, but here is what BVWHE Spain said:

December 13:

Lost - Season 1
Blu-ray - Buena Vista H.E.
Official Announcement

Buena Vista confirms the release, for next year 2007, of the first season of the Lost series in high definition Blu-ray format.

From the creator of Alias and Felicity, J. J. Abrams and starring Matthew Fox, Iam Somerhalder, Evangeline Lilly, Terry O'Quinn and Dominic Monagham, Lost is a series that is successful in half of the world. On it, a plane crash leaves a group of survivors isolated on a desert island. These survivors will have to work together to stay alive in an island where they aren't totally alone...

Lost in Blu-ray format, will be without a doubt the best way to enjoy the series since its originally filmed in Super-35 and transfered to the HDTV 1080p format before TV broadcasting. Therefore we'll enjoy an image of quality much superior than on DVD and identical to its source.

December 14:

Pirates Of The Caribbean
Blu-ray - Buena Vista H.E.
Official Announcement

Buena Vista announces, as upcoming releases for 2007, the Pirates of the Caribbean saga in Blu-ray format, both the first part The Curse of the Black Pearl and the second part Dead Man's Chest.

Still without a concrete date, we expect that the release will happen near the date of the premiere of the third part in theaters, scheduled currently for May of 2007.

Staring Johnny Deep, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley and directed by Gore Verbinski, Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the sagas with the highest box office in the history of the company and without a doubt a great release to enjoy in high definition.

Soon on zonadvd.com more details about Pirates of the Caribbean on Blu-ray
