Default Upgraded to a 50" G25.

I ordered a G25 from Amazon today. It will be replacing a Bravia KDL-32L4000 which was Sony's entry level TV in 2008. Here is a picture of my current set up.

I plan on mounting it a few inches above the monitor at 4' high and centering over the table.

The next goal is improved audio. I prefer headphones over speakers. Those AD700s are on my head like 8 hours a day.

Edit: One more thing. Are the mounts from monoprice reliable? I know retailers mark up accessories like crazy, but I want to make sure this isn't one of those too good to be true situations. Those things are cheap.

Yes, anything you purchase from http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp is excellent equipment. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute.

Found a nice surprise today. Apparently I've had $63 dollars sitting in my PayPal account from a refund since May. So I used that to buy this mount. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...#specification

Here it is. It looks gorgeous. Set it to THX and all the settings at 50. If it looks this good now I can't wait to see it calibrated.

Man I love this thing. I am going to be rewatching all of my movies all over again. The picture difference is bigger than when I went from standard to that Bravia. I've already dropped over $100 on movies since I bought the TV. Plus another $60 for blackout curtains. I love it.

Cool. I have a 42" tv above and to the right of my 24 inch monitor. That's where i do most of my tv watching. Cool set up.
