Schoolhouse Rock? - Blu-ray Forum

Wonder if this will be released on blu. It's one of the few dvd's I kept cause my nieces love watching it ever time they come over. Do you all think it would make a great difference having it on blu? Disney owns the series now?

It depend's how they were made? I haven't seem them in 30 years I can't recall if it was on film? It probably was? I use to love seeing them as a kid, I love Interplanetary Janet?? The American Revolution? Conjuction Junction?

I wonder if it they would really bother releasing them on Blu-ray?

Thought it made sense to revive this thread as today I went hunting through my blu-ray collection as "I was sure" I had this collection on blu-ray... and after coming up dry and googling I realized I was just remembering the DVD set in my library.

These animated shorts were indeed shot on film and would be awesome to get on blue in HD with lossless audio (the CDs sound pretty good considering the source... so I think our full-animated experience shouldn't take an additional sonic hit with lossy audio).

Sigh... maybe one day? Politics are certainly a relevant topic in our time

so maybe some renewed interest?
