Default Purchase habits of the $98 A2 owner

linkage

What percentage of $98 A2 owners do you suppose are like-minded. Hopefully it is very high.

LOL, I love this guys response...

Re: So, when can we expect software prices to become reasonable?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With all of the blu-ray sales, probably around 80% of their titles were available at one time or another for $8 to $12 from Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City or Fry's.

It would be nice if there would be more HD-DVD sales, especially from Universal. Fry's will occasionally have some HD-DVD sales, but with very limited selection.

I've found myself checking my Amazon gold box lately, since I've been able to find some decent deals there, just picked up Battlestar Galactica Season 1 for $59 yesterday.

...................................

All that I have heard from the hardcore HD-Duders is how much cheaper the hardware and software are gonna be. Well the hardware is not much cheaper and the software is WAY more money.

Glad I made the right choice and joined the Blu side

I think the people who didn't do the research, will get the "sticker" shock like the poster. On the deal sites I browse, "I wish HD-DVD would have a sale like Blu-ray..." seems to be main complaint now...

"Uhhh...you guys gave me a cheap player, now gimme my cheap movies."

Who would of thought THAT would happen? Only most of us.

It's like why I bought my TV before I bought my PS3. Or why you work before you have fun. I would much rather pay more money now and less later. It just works better that way. I love BOGO deals!

If that makes any sense...

So have I.

Just because some of these people don't post on forums like these doesn't mean anything one way or the other.

This should be the real kicker for them. What the first season of Star Trek:TOS is twice the price of my player.

DaveHo (in the link) writes as if he didn't know the disc prices when he bought the player. He suckered himself on that one. Poetic justice for HD-DVD if the firesale players went mainly to the DaveHo types who will rent from Netflix instead of buying movies.

well i think they won't be buying much movies because of the price shock, plus they won't be going back to wal mart because is a pain in the butt dressing up with their best clothes everytime they go there.
