The Phantom mini series will be released on Blu-ray on September 7th. Missed this when it was on so will have to blind buy if cheap.

I love the original Phantom character, and have all of the Lee Falk paperback books printed in the 70's. I prefer to keep the setting in the past like the Billy Zane movie did, but I will blind buy this one and give it a chance.

Didn't even know there was a recent Phantom series, the only I know about is the Billy Zane one which is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Saw it back when it came out in June I think. It's alright but I am not going to buy this until I can have it at $6

For The Phantom only work's in the 30's

I watched it, and it was decent enough. Looks like they were aiming to make a regular series out of it. Haven't heard anything on that yet. Will probably pick it up on sale down the line. Too many great catalogs getting ready to be released that are higher on the pecking order than this.

I've been curious about this, but I can also see it being VERY cheap VERY quickly... I can wait for the inevitable price drop.
