Any word on if this 80s classic cartoon movie will ever be released on Blu? It's on of my all time favorite films and a must have for me.

I have the original dvd, the superbit DTS dvd & the sad heavy metal 2000: FAAK which could have and should have been so much better.

i can't wait for the original to be released on blu, best rock animated feature soundtrack that there ever was!

i do hope they do a nice restoration and a 2K scan wouldn't be a bad thing either with a nice lossless soundtrack too.

Count me in, day one purchase for me if it ever comes out. I have an original animation cel of the barbarian leader hanging on the wall of my mancave.

I used to watch this one on cable when I was little. I remember thinking about how awesome cartoon boobs were

AQ on Blu would probably be insane

It's really pretty stupid the animation from the 80s we are getting like Rock N Rule but not the best of them all Heavy Metal.
