Default What's your favorite girly movie in your Blu-ray collection?

And if you are a woman, what's your favorite manly film in your blu-ray collection.

Mine has to be Enchanted. It is just an awesome movie with an amazing performance from Amy Adams. And im always tearing up whenever I watch it.

What is your favorite?

Alice in Wonderland is about the only girly movie I own.
It's an OK movie, nothing spectacular.

I intend to order Amelie next week.

It's the sweetest movie I've ever seen.

The Princess Bride, an amazing movie that never gets old. If that's not girly enough of a movie for you, I agree with Enchanted.

I would have to say Last Chance Harvey (have on order but have seen it). It's a fantastic story about a man who meets a woman under unusual circumstances (and falls in love) - quite original and very funny as well! It's a well-done drama/comedy.

I wish I could say TITANIC, but since that wonderful reality doesn't exist, I'll go with THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON--a phenomenal BD all around.

+1 Good point - didn't consider Benjamin Button. Definitely one of the best Blu-rays I have seen.

It has music and dance sequences, it's pretty much a girly movie. That's not a bad thing.

I don't personally own any girly (girley?) movies. The ones in my collection that may appear to be less manly, such as Narnia, are not mine, but belong to other family members. The majority of my collection is composed of war/epic films. I even took New Moon down from my blu-ray.com collection list.

I don't think any of the films in my Blu-ray collection are particulartly girly, though the one closest to being so would be (500) Days of Summer. And that's only because it's a (romantic?) comedy.

Mamma Mia! and Sex and the City are the girliest movies I own on BD unless you count Disney films. If that's the case, then my pick goes to Sleeping Beauty, hands down. The story may be stretched too thin, but I love the animation and music, and the Three Good Fairies and Maleficent are great characters. Add to that reference quality video and audio and a ton of quality extras, and you've got yourself a fantastic Blu-ray.

Oh, and I don't find The Wizard of Oz very girly, either. It's seems to be the only musical other guys I know will admit to loving. Narnia's another one not even close to girly territory, especially Prince Caspian.

Wow! I absolutely love Enchanted as well! Did you know they're making an Enchanted 2? Of course, it probably will not be good as the first.

I also loved Last Chance Harvey! I thought is was a much better love story than Benjamin Button.

My top Blu tho for girly is Pride & Prejudice (2005).

Ok, but I'm a gal, so I would say my fav guy movie would probably be The Matrix. I love all the Star Wars; unfortunately, not out in Blu. Currently, I'm slowly getting thru BSG series (finally that's been sitting on my shelf) and I love it! Thanks to all the guy recommendations on this site for this series!
