If you aren't joking about this, it's a bit on the foolish side. This is the fastest way to lose mucho dinero. If someone breaks into your home and decides to steal something, at least with the blu cases, they will have their hands full.

I think he was joking. He had that weird ass, winking smiley at the end of it. I hope he is kidding. That is a horrible way to protect an investment! You wouldnt catch me dead throwing my discs in a "scratch-prone" case.

Yes, but I didn't see a JK at the end of his statement, so I still worry about it. However, the "scratch-prone" case isn't so bad with BDs.

I used to take all my movies out to keep them looking uniform- especially with my Disney DVD's- but after they just kept coming- I just kept them on and put all those movies together- the movies with Slip Covers look really good together- and the ones with out look really good together but sepearate from the rest- as box sets go- it just depends on how I organize my movies- on my DVD's- I have two Disney Box sets- each on either side of the dinsey moveis and sall the slipvovered movies in between, on the second shelf I have all the non slipcover movies- It's harder to keep them in Alphaetical order, but it DOES look nice- so itall depends on how you want to organize them.

Yeah.. some people are really anal.

I buy, watch, store. I watch some more.

I keep everything it comes with and shelve/stack them where ever.

Same thing with the box sets.

example

Basic Instic 1 was Lions Gate and they come with a case like those from Warner Bros, or HD DVDs, which is very ugly, and thicker. to make it look nice together with Basic INstic 2 and other SONY titles, I changed the case, so they all look uniformed now. thanks to SONY, sendin me a remastered Fifth Elelment so I can use that case for it.

The only time I break up a box set is when there are a collection of different movies in them. I would immediately toss the "Best of Blu-ray" box but would keep my Spidey flicks in the box...that is, until the 4th film in the franchise is released.
