Godfather & Indiana Jones, HD DVD in 08

Don't know how much truth there is to this, but apparently the Paramount CEO in Norway has stated that these two titles will be available on HD DVD in 2008.

I wonder if Spielberg knows about this, or if they're just pulling a Universal. Everybody seems to use him as a bargaining tool . . . if I was him I'd say fu*k HD DVD period, just on principle, and even if it were the better format.

Maybe he should lay off the Akevitt, lay down and take some fluids and some vitamin C... He may feel better in the morning .

That would mean Indy would also be on Blu-ray, as there is no way in hell Spielberg would let his movie be dud only. Paramount is still a neutral studio as far as spielberg movies are concerned.

Indiana Jones is Spielberg and therefore exempt

Spielberg also championed the rescuing of Godfather, and should be exempt under the "certain blockbuster titles" clause as well

Well he never said it was exclusively on DUD. It's only a lie by omission.
