I would love to have this on Blu, it's one of my favorite films of all time (and certainly the most romantic) but have a feeling we won't see much improvement over what is out there already. It was shot on two different film stocks in order to show the contrast in the two different time periods.

And to Sith, what can I say but:

I have created a fanpage that people can "like" in order to petition the powers that be to bring Somewhere In Time to blu-ray. If and when we have a very large number of likes I plan to contact Universal about the page and request a high quality blu-ray transfer and/or restoration.

"come back to me" ahh the memories of this movie. Sappy but very romantic and the soundtrack is pretty darn good too.

I saw this movie for the first time when I was a little boy of 8 years. Since then, subconsciously, my definition of beauty is based on this portrait of Jane Seymour as Elise. It will be amazing if we get a blu ray release of this film.

I first saw this movie on HBO around 1981 I was probably around 10 at the time, it still is one of my favorite all time movies. The chances are slim of this coming out anytime soon, but I for one agree about the definition of beauty, even to this day is still is an amazingly beautiful woman.

For a moment there, I thought we were cut from the same cloth. I saw this in a theatre at around the same age and it is the only film from my childhood that I remembered vividly (okay, "Love Bug" too, but for different reasons ). I'm not one for romantic films, but there's a timeless quality to this film that others in this genre fail to exude or capture, and the pairing of Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour was just perfect, and the ending: it brings tears to my eyes every time.

There's no question that I must have this for my library.

I only saw this film for the first time a few years ago. I was always curious about it. It's a great film for sure, and it should be on blu-ray.
