And probably no chance of these coming to the US.

I'm happy for the majority of the Japanese fans. Namco seem to have figured out where their greatest audience is and the moneyhat offers from abroad must not be big enough.

Shame a lot of damage was already dealt though.

That's awesome news and I am excited but I do agree on that these probably may not come outside of Japan.

Tales of Graces - I hope it doesn't have the bug that the Wii version had which actually made them recall the game.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 - We're still waiting on the 2nd game to come out so either it's going to be a really long time before we see it or we may just only have to stick with the 1st game.

New Tales game - Interesting. I hope it's good.

Yep; I been saying that for awhile.

I actually think that these Tales games, along with PS3 Vesperia still stand a decent chance of making it to the US.

In Vesperia's, releasing it now would barely cost anything; all the localization including extra voice work is done already.

I beaten Graces on the Wii back when it first came out so I definitely can't wait for the PS3 port.

Sophie better still have her Hatsune Miku costume, haha

As for the new Tales, more Tales games is always good, definitely can't wait for those as i'm a big Tales of fan.

Default Want to Help localize PS3 Tales Games in the west?

http://scrawlfx.com/2010/07/want-to-help-localize-tales-games-in-the-west
Quote:

We’ve been in a situation lately. Since late 2008, the west hasn’t seen the release of any new Tales games while Japan has been flooded with release after release. It seems that every attempt to reach out to Namco Bandai on localizing these titles result in general “we haven’t announced anything” responses. That’s until just recently, of course.

Namco’s said in a recent statement that they’re currently “working with [their] Japan counterparts to determine if we’ll see US releases for these games”. This gives us hope, especially after Yuri Lowell voice actor Troy Baker confirmed that the cast went in for voice recording on the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia, even mentioning the new character Patty Fleur.

While we’d like every Tales title to come to the US, we understand Namco Bandai’s financial situation. Here’s what we’d compensate with seeing arrive on our shores:

Tales of Vesperia for PlayStation 3
Tales of Graces F for PlayStation 3
Untitled Tales for PlayStation 3

Three Tales games – one of which is supposedly already localized, if Troy Baker is to be believed. We picked the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Graces due to the fact that like Tales of Vesperia on PlayStation 3, it’s most likely an improved port from the original version. Of course, the untitled Tales game for PlayStation 3 is the most important title of them all considering it’s brand-new developed from the ground up on a high-definition console.

Now, you’re probably wondering how you can help. There are two things you can do, and we suggest you do both if you really care about bringing these games over.

First: Tales Community forum member Eclisis has been running a survey since earlier this month on Tales localization. It’s already received over 2,600 responses but it obviously needs much more. Once enough surveys are sent in, the results will be sent to Namco Bandai. To make sure it goes to the right place, I’ve offered my help with sending it in. Fill out that survey here.

Second: Another idea the community has had is to have Sony publish PlayStation 3’s Tales titles in the west. There’s currently a PlayStation.Blog.Share idea running for that now. All you need is a PlayStation Network account to vote it up. Please do that here.

While Namco is “evaluating” which games they’ll bring to the US either way, showing your support in these surveys and ideas will only help them see how much Tales fans want these games in the US. If you really care, go ahead and complete these two tasks.
I just filled 'em out. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the pics, Shin-ra, can't wait for the New Tales of... and to play through Graces again.

By looking at the Graces screenshot with Sophie and Asbel, it seems to takes place after the end of the Wii version and so is the PS3 port also a sequel?
[Show spoiler]Because Asbel doesn't get his left eye color change to purple until you beat the last boss and game. And even then, there is no gameplay nor scene like this in the Wii version with him with his purple left eye. I guess this is one of those post-ending story events added to the game.

It says they added story which takes place 6 months after the main game. Thats why they added the "F" after the name, which stands for "Future".

I just hope they bring these along with Vesperia State side.

6 months after the main game, huh? well I guess that gives people who have played the Wii version already a reason to pick up the PS3 version along with all the other added content. This makes me even more excited about this port, I can't wait for it.

And yes I hope these games do come to the States as well. If not, I guess i'll just import.

Tales of Graces really looks like it's just a straight re-rendering to HD of the Wii version. It doesn't seem they added much more detail.

According to Baba, the development staff plans on putting to use the technical knowhow they've gained in 15 years of Tales development. He said to pay attention to the contrast between light and shadow. They're aiming for a completely new type of visual expression, something that's different from the anime touch of Tales of Vesperia and the watercolor touch of Tales of Graces.

Baba says that when he saw one of the concept images running on actual hardware, he was stunned by the feeling of scale. The image he's referring to is the one that looks like the entrance to a cathedral. I've taken it from the official site here:
