Johnny Handsome has just been released by Lionsgate (7/27/10).

"John Sedley is a petty gangster whose facial deformities earned him the nickname "Johnny Handsome." When Johnny and a friend are double-crossed during a robbery by two partners, his friend is killed and Johnny is sent to prison. There, a sympathetic surgeon makes a deal to give Johnny a new face - and a new shot at life. Once on the outside, Johnny discovers that staying straight isn't easy. But his new look does open one door for Johnny - revenge."

Love the movie ( is there a Mickey Rourke film I don`t ? ) sadly only region A. Hopefully region B will be better in PQ wise .... not a perfect movie but Mickey does again great performance, as does Morgan Freeman

Lance could have been replaced with more "credible" and better actor and film would have turn out better.

Great movie. It was my #1 of that year. Walter Hill doesn't get the respect he deserves. I will definitely be getting this as this will mark this first time it was ever released in Widescreen, and having it on BR is ideal...but the COVER ART SUCKS! Couldn't they at least mirror the poster for this?!?!

They really need to hire better marketing creatives.

Has anyone seen this title at Wal*Mart Yet? usually this would be a 10.00 title if they have it on a sidecap/ endcap etc.

I saw it on Tuesday. It was $15.

I've always enjoyed "Johnny Handsome." I'll pick this one up when it's cheap just to have it in the original aspect ratio. Now if they'll follow it with a widescreen "Extreme Prejudice."

I watched Johnny Handsome over the weekend, for the first time ever. There aren't enough Ellen Barkin pics out there for sure.

She was great in the film, so was rest of the cast. Rourke certainly deserves a lot more credit.

There were instances on some early scenes dealing with certain photography techniques used that the image seemed really poor. The film deserved some more disc space possibly. Though many scenes looked really detailed and good.
