There have been rumors of Finding Nemo coming out in November. I'd love for that to be true.

Bolded my wants if they get confirmed. Not sure on some of the horror franchises. I'd prefer to pick and choose, but with prices during the holidays, if I find a good deal I'll probably get them all.

+1 on the holiday prices. Last year really spoiled us...here's hoping they do even better this year!

I'd like to add Battle Royale to my list of wants! Hehe.

I would like to see more indie films (like Lightening Bug) hitting Blu-Ray and some classics. It seems right now we're getting a lot more re-releases of movies that already are on Blu-Ray or just movies that are just being released on DVD/Blu-Ray...
I think the only movies that need a re-release are those that seriously have something wrong with the original transfer or disc. Crash is one of them. Predator didn't need a re-release whatsoever, that's how it was intended to look.

WE NEED MORE FILMS THAT AREN'T ALREADY ON BLU-RAY BEING RELEASED!!!!

It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

An example is, Jurrasic Park would make a monstrous amount of money on Blu-Ray. Same with JAWS. That is if the transfers are done well.
Why don't they just invest in that? I bet they'd be making more money if they were to release bigger titles than re-releasing titles that are already out there.

i have heard alot about studios waiting for more consumers to buy into blu-ray before releasing classics and such
which will happen no doubt of it ...
but how will they get more consumers if there adamant not to release the films that will define the format ? !

(p.s i have a feeling jurrasic park is coming its already confirmed for a dutch release just look at the dutch universal website it allready listed for november also listed is ... tremors and frightners ! )

studos are going t make a killing this holiday season ,, aliens will sell alot i imagine

+1 on Abyss for sure. True Lies isn't high on my list, but I would get it if it were available.

I'd also like Bad Boys II. I have Bad Boys I on blu and II on DVD. And may as well ask for The Island, while I'm on Bay movies.

I'm in the same boat, i'm 19 as well and luckily I only started collecting movies when Blu-ray was released, so in a way its a good thing i didn't spend money on DVD's since I would have just double-dipped later on. But there are a lot of movies I want on DVD I just won't buy because I feel like they will just be released right around the corner on Blu-ray
