Anyway,

Top Contributer is earned by helping the site out by entering PS3 games, Movies, HT Equipment.

And Top Reviewer is based on the User Reviews you submit.

I have seen one member who has reviewed one movie, and has been voted at 44% on that one review, but is still listed as a top reviewer.

I don't understand how this works. Please explain.

I don't think it's based on the percentage of positive feedback (based on negative & positive votes) one gets for a review; I think it's based on the number of people who have left that feedback which determines if one gets a star. I could be wrong but that is my assessment from looking at the reviewer list. Some members with just one review received 20 feedback ratings (all were positive but again, I think it is the quantity, not quality which determines the star rating).

No other way. Pretty much after the first couple of pages it's simply a bunch of also-rans.

BTW, I have NO clue how I got a star next to my ONE BD review!

where can you see how many you have? I see the people who have starts they have how many they submissions they have. I'd like to know how many I have...currently I rank 946 in ALL submissions

Thought I was a bit higher.

Plus does it count as a point for each category you fix/submit or is it by title ?

just another question if anyone can answer.... I found myself listed on the master list but the question I have is....people above (of course) and BELOW me have a star yet I don't

Your submissions are probably still pending/ needs to be approved by an admin.

Submitting reviews will not earn you a Top Contributor status.

Also, once you submit entries into the database, those entries have to be approved by a moderator or site admin. (Usually takes place in 1-2 days after submission). Once those are approved, your credit will be given.

You can check by viewing your own Community Profile Page. For example, check out mine here. You can see that under My Profile, it lists that I am a Top Contributor, and also has the number of submissions I have entered in to the database (4,276). I am not sure how many it takes to become a Top Contributor, but I don't think it is very many.
