Default New TV suggestions

Probably should have posted here first, instead of the theory area.
Anyway, looking for a new TV for the bedroom. 27'' would be nice...would rather not spend more than 350ish.

Other, 2nd string manufacturers out there that would work?

I went with a 55" Samsung 1080i HD. Refresh rate is important for a blur free picture. 60 hz is so-so. 120 hz (mine) is real good, 240 hz (not a big selection - yet) is best. Remember to get the HDMI cable. If you just screw the coax cable from your box into the set the picture will flat out suck.

Whats the price range? Because even for the price of a 27 inch you could end up getting a larger TV with the money.

Just go with the old saying," What the heck just swipe the card and buy yourself a big screen since its only money. Plus the wife will forgive me over time."

I like the way you think!

My credit rating is definitely throwing some stink eye your way though.

We already got a panasonic x2 32". Along with a mount from mono price that pulls out and swivels. It's pretty nice. Next up I think I'm going to get the best buy insignia bd that has built in wifi and netflix. All told it'll be about a $500 upgrade. Tv was 388, mount 25, an I think the bd is 130...so a bit more than 500. Pretty good though from our old 25" CRT and DVD player.

If your not into the big name brands you might want to try Sharp. But if I were you I would go with Sony. They make great 32inch HDTV's.
