Awesome that this beautiful movie is already going to be released in the UK! As far as I know it isn't even available in its native country Spain as of now.
![]() Does anyone already know whether the English subtitles on this BR are going to be optional or forced? Also: Have any special features been announced so far? Hopefully they'll put some effort in them. I'm no big fan of bare bones releases... I'd be terribly peaved if I ordered that BR only to find out that the subs were forced or that significant special features from the local release were missing. Both was the case with the British DVD of "Diary of a Nymphomaniac". |

In Spain, this film has been announced on DVD only, (however Diary of a Nymphomaniac, the other film you mentioned, does have a Spanish BD release with optional English subtitles, if you are interested) and any extras present will more than likely come from this release, subtitled where necessary. I would expect any extra content to be in SD PAL format. |

I'll get it, but here in Spain, i dont mind using subs for english movies or whatever country they are from, but it would be just silly to have subs for me in a spanish film :P
If you like this movie (i haven't seen it yet, but its from the same director) i recomend Lucia y el sexo; guess its just on dvd, but worth watching it for sure. |

Trailer is the only special feature mentioned in the press release, so yes...

![]() ![]() P.S. The main language of the film is English, so if there are subtitles for the English, they will be optional. Non-English portions will almost certianly have subtitles burned-in on the source print. So the real questio is, are their any English subtitles (for the English dialogue) at all? Darn it, I wish Optimum would go back to having more region-free releases like they used to (but I know for some things their hands might be tied).
