Default Any Rumors The Prophecy Trilogy on Blu?

Just watched Prophecy I and II on HDNet. Has anyone heard any rumors about these or a trilogy on blu-ray anytime soon?

Prophecy was just sold with Miramax. Probably a year or so counting transition time at best. There's some good extras out there, like an alternate opening and ending

I would gladly pay for the trilogy on Blu-ray. I hope Miramax brings these out on Blu-ray. This series looks like a good candidate for release by Alliance in Canada, if they could get a HD transfer.

I'm sure they have them, but it's like at least a decade old. Personally I'm trying to stat away from alliance's "beat WB to market" shovelware

Low budget but still these were pretty good movies. I'd buy them on blu. Viggo was great as the devil. And Walken... well what has he not been good in.

Default Prophecy - one of my favorite movies of all time!

I enjoyed all 5 or so of the movies but the first one really deserves a good BR release (not some low end transfer but BD50, AVC, 1080p and lossless audio it really drives me crazy when I see DVD "quality" transfers on BR - not sure what the point is - and if there is a theatrical and directors cut please include BOTH).

HDNet Movies actually showed all three (not just the first two) multiple times this year. I need to have the original on BR, the audio boost to the fantastic score is as much of a potential feature as the picture.

I loved all 5 or so of the movies but the first one I would really really like on BR with a quality transfer (of course). I was just about to check if there were any new ones since enen the last one was left open.

I really liked this trilogy. Don't mean to hijack this thread but what are the chances that this Prophecy ever sees a blu release?

Cheesy and campy, i know. But it was still enjoyable. And it's been years since I've seen it.

Would really really like the 1st one on BR but if they sold all 5 of them as a pack I'd buy it.

The chances are zero. Stranger things have happened in the world, but obscure horror movies from the 1970's are not prime targets for BD from the Hollywood studios.

I saw this at a young age and it wasn't cheesy or campy to me, it scared the crap out of me LOL.
