That would really show paramounts lack of commitment to Blu Ray.

they probably will. All the neutral titles I've seen look like hd-dvd port overs, not utilizing the potential of blu-ray (more space for sound and bandwidth per second).

I don't think that's too far from the truth. I have 8 titles from Paramount and none of them are lossless (MI series and Shooter included). So it makes me wonder if any of the Paramount titles have lossless audio, and if they weren't already doing a direct HD transfer back when they were supporting Blu?

For all those the didn't think transformers was a great movie.... you probably didn't grow up watching the cartoon and the animated movie. There are tons of us that did, and those people are the ones that made Transformers the hit that it is. It brings back great memories from our youth. I personally love the movie even while I simultaneously realize that it's not terrific by any means. It's the emotions that movies provoke that ultimately make us love them.

I did grow up watching it. Does not mean I am automatically going to like the film. It was kinda dull and watching it for the second time, I kinda fell asleep.

Reading over this thread, I'd just like to say... I called it. I said something like if Paramount goes blu next year (be it 07' when I wrote it), I hope they...transformers...lossless sound...
Someone said its gonna happen in 09'. Haahahahahahhah. Well, look at Paramount now.
Now unrelated sortof to Transformers. I hope that all of Paramount's movies contain a lossless soundtrack or i'll be heated.

Anyone else?

Same goes for Universal

+1. It looked extremely kiddish. The main character in the movie looked and sounded god damn irritating.

I think it'd be kinda funny if Paramount doesn't release Transformers for like 2 years. Not gonna happen, I'd just think it'd be somewhat funny cuz of everyone drooling for this crap on Blu.

EDIT: Changed my mind. It would suck, because then we'd have to put up with everyone not only drooling and waiting and talking about it, but then the *****ing because they haven't released it yet. So in all actuality, I hope they release it right away so everyone will just shut up about it and move on.
