If you do blind buy, wait 'til it's cheaper: it's well known as one of those love it or hate it films and you don't want to pay full price for a film you won't like! I think it's a good film, but i'm definitely waiting for a cheaper price.

Aye, I will wait till it's a bit cheaper . Won't pre-order it right away. Already got a few movies on pre-order.

Besides, half- or more than half of this movie was shot on Hi8 or Digital8 consumer cameras so don't expect too much of an improvement on BD. The parts that will probably benefit the most are the parts that were shot on 16mil.

Oh god. I really despise this film. BUT, it's coming to Blu-ray so it's a must have. Although don't know if it would ever get watched to be honest.

Why would you buy a film you don't like? That makes no sense.

LOL, exactly. Once I start collecting something I can't stop. Hell, I even paid £15 for Batman & Robin months and months after release, seriously!

More sense than invading Iraq -so it's good sense to me!

We all love movies here and collecting discs is just part of it because we like to get 'em in our hands and check 'em out.

I'll be buying this too but I'll not be getting rid of my old UK DVD (which I reckon was the best release anywhere).

If it's new it's always better. I well known fact

That was one awesome reply! Cheers for that. Yeah, you can't get much better than Blu-ray, but I seriously cannot stand DVD's any more, they look awful.

Yes, sadly DVDs look pretty bad now in comparison but I'll keep the TBWP and most of my other DVDs for the extras (if they're any good). Great extras on the UK Pathé DVD of TBWP and I find this quite a bit with other releases.

I think DVD is here for a long time yet and although it's a shock watching a DVD after a Blu-ray it's still a great format and there's gonna be a whole lot of DVDs that will not make it to Blu-ray anytime soon.

I'm usually 15 minutes into a DVD now before I forget it's not a Blu-ray and I'm not getting HD like Blu-ray

Still a great format though! So was Betamax
