Can someone help me?

I have a Sony VAIO laptop that I bought last year in June, just recently a green line showed up across the bottom of my screen and it flashes sometimes but I tried looking up whats wrong on google but cant seem to find anything..can someone tell me whats wrong with my screen? Thanks

I'd guess the graphics card is on the way to crapping out. As a first step you may want to re-install the drivers. The best way to rule out a graphic card issue would be to hook the laptop up to an external display. If no lines appear on the monitor then it could be a connection issue or a problem with the LCD on the laptop.

I recall that certain Viao models had some Nvidia chip problems a while back, but I believe that was from a couple of years ago so it probably wouldn't effect you.

What model do you have?

That isn't on the list of the models with the Nvidia issue, so my advice to you would be to go ahead and hook up your laptop to an external monitor and see if the problem is still present.
