What's the deal with these releases? What's the audio, is there any video? Stereo, remastered 5.1, any idea kids?

The Cover says "The Definitive Authorized STORY of the Albums" so it sounds like the VH1 Classic Album series. It'll be interesting to see what the Audio is. Good price too IMO ($17.99)

The audio on the recent Black Sabbath Paranoid Classic Albums blu-ray was PCM stereo, so if I had to make an educated guess, I would say this will also have PCM stereo. This will not contain the album itself, just a documentary about the making of the album (which has to include clips from the album).

I do see Amazon.com has a delux edition of this one, which includes the blu-ray, a DVD, and the two albums on CD. I will pass on that.

This is really cool as RUSH is my favorite band since about 1981 when I first picked up Rush and Fly by Night on a dual-cassette and heard 2112 on 8-track.

Anyway -- the only thing missing from something like this is the audio in hi-rez.

i don't need surround, but hi-rez audio would be freakin' sweet!

Why did they chose these 2 to profile? I'm a huge Rush fan and think that Farewell To Kings, Fly By Night and Permanent Waves are just as good IMO!

(I guess it's becuase 2112 and MP are their best sellers)
